The master for this 1995 "Space Ambient" recording by Matthew was found on the B side of the original master for "Drifting ..." - the first Secret Stairways demo. It has been reproduced for the first time in nearly 30 years on Maxwell P/I cassettes with Low Noise/High Output tape, dubbed using a 1997 Yamaha KX-W392. Matt plays a number of experimental instruments and sounds, as well as his keyboard, as he narrates the "story". Is it just a fantasy based on TV reruns and movies? Or is there a deeper meaning?

Imagine you are on a spaceship that is quickly and mercilessly taken over by a strange and terrifying, seemingly endless, swarm of mechanized people. All is irrelevant except their goal to assimilate all into their "Collective". No individuality, No sense of self, You are simply a mindless drone, But, even the best "machine" breaks down. Would your humanity prevail if given the choice?

Written in 1995, Matt lost himself in this project, which is why he calls himself .000010010 There are many strange sounds here. Was his keyboard capable of making them? I hear Zube Tube "pew-pew" sounds on the track, "Subspace". If you can identify the sounds, I would love to hear your interpretation.
